Through exceptional design, great storytelling, and innovative engagement tools, we bring to life a client’s brand and deliver real results, both for the client and their audiences across the globe.

As a Marketing Executive, you’ll be working closely with the Marketing Manager for Skyline Whitespace and assisting the Whitespace Group, being responsible for producing great content for marketing campaigns, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining a strong social media presence. It is important that you are a fast learner, proactive, self-motivated, communicative, independent and organised individual. You’ll be working in a creative and friendly environment and will also play a key part in cross-organisational team work within the workplace.

Your role and your responsibilities

  • Maintaining a coherent company communication style and tone of voice.
  • Overseeing PPC and SEO activities and monitoring bounce rates, conversions and traffic
  • Communicating with design freelances, agencies, printers, photographers, and other services to develop promotional materials and help other marketing-related projects come to fruition
  • Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to improve lead generation campaigns
  • Running reports to track growth and ROI
  • Creating and editing visuals for web and social media
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to take part in exhibitions and events, sourcing best price and ordering marketing collateral for events
  • Proof reading / error checking marketing collateral before production
  • Maintain The Portable Display Shop Squarespace site
  • Upload new products in line with strategy and under instruction of Marketing Manager
    • Work with suppliers to source imagery and product descriptions
  • Booking and coordinating photography and videography of stands / events for the full Whitespace Group
  • General administrative support to marketing team
    • Adding invoices to WAP system
    • Raising PO’s against jobs
    • Process credit card expenses
  • Building and maintaining social media presence across all digital channels
  • Measuring performance on all marketing activities
  • Producing engaging and optimised content for website, blog, social media and online and offline publications
    • Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest
    • Identifying opportunities on social media for development / competitor research
    • Maintain social media content calendar and pre-schedule using Hootsuite
    • Content creation – Create brand assets/visuals using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Updating WordPress website with relevant content
    • Write SEO focused blog content and upload to website
    • Post job vacancies to the join the team page under HR instruction
    • Maintain event calendar

Your experience and skills

  • Key skills:
    Editing and writing skills: You need to devise and edit content for various digital platforms. Writing blog posts is an integral part of the job
    Communication skills: These will mainly be deployed internally. You will need to be proactive in communicating with other in a clear manner, so all relevant stakeholders are aware of your activities and if you need their input
    Photo editing and basic design skills: Website and social media content will not just be text but frequently visual as well, good knowledge of Adobe Cloud suite is desirable
    Web development skills: Knowledge of of HTML is not necessary, but good knowledge of SEO and advanced WordPress skills are required.
    Project management skills: You need to be good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines
    CRM skills: You must be comfortable querying the CRM (Hubspot) and extracting relevant information when required


  • Experience with online marketing tools and best practices
  • Knowledge of all different digital marketing channels
  • Good understanding of search engine optimisation and pay-per-click
  • Great WordPress (or similar CMS) skills
  • Experience in creating content, either for online or offline consumption
  • A strategic and structured approach to conducting analysis and producing reports
  • Confident with Microsoft Office tools
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Must have previous experience in a similar role
  • Marketing related degree is desirable

Remuneration and benefits

  • Between £28,000 – £30,000 basic salary
