The Company

We are looking for a positive and hardworking Business Development Executive to join our fun and friendly team based in South West London. Working for The Whitespace Group, whose four brands are market leaders in their fields, Skyline Whitespace, Whitespace XPO, WE Create and Whitespace Boxed, the role will see you heavily involved in the fast-paced world of exhibitions and events. Your main responsibilities will be to work with our sales team to help develop the pipeline and improve conversion of all outbound sales opportunities.

Summary Description

The ideal candidate will work closely with our existing sales team, identifying and prospecting opportunities from existing and targeted data. Working initially with the team from Skyline Whitespace, (modular exhibition displays), there is also the potential to develop sales channels for Whitespace XPO (Core Services), and WE Create (Experiential Event Agency) This role would be very well suited to someone who wanted to get into the exhibitions and events industry, and is looking for career progression in a fast moving sales environment. A can do attitude and great attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Researching contact information from existing and targeted data<
  • Identifying sales opportunities and providing an initial outline of how The Group can support the prospect
  • Liaising with the prospect and the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient handover
  • Working closely with marketing to develop and implement campaigns which support the activity, helping to define and refine the core messaging and identify key verticals
  • Managing all leads through the internal CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Reporting on all activity, at the sales meeting and with weekly reports

Skills required

  • Self starter and able to work under own initiative
  • Strong communications skills and comfortable working at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills and above average in Excel, Word, Power point, etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • High levels of attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Confidence to liaise with senior level staff members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once working to tight deadlines
  • Full Training provided
