Skyline Whitespace is nominated for a Merton Best Business Award!

We’re incredibly pleased to announce that we are one of the finalists for the “Positive Workplace” category in the Merton Best Business Awards 2019.

This category, sponsored by Love Wimbledon is for businesses going above and beyond to ensure their employees experience a culture that provides a workplace that supports wellbeing and the environment. Our work environment

We believe in providing a work environment that’s not just authentic and transparent, but also relaxed and fun! We want our people to be inspired and motivated and bring their full creativity, commitment, and motivation to work. We want them to feel proud to belong to our team. The measures put in place have encouraged staff members to develop their roles and grow their career in the business. We’re a progressive company who want to retain talent as long as possible.

Our offices are open plan with the project and account managers, design studio and client presentation room all in one place. Our 25,000sqft facility also includes 5,000sqft showroom, a production facility and our very own pub garden complete with a heated hut and a cosy fire pit – ideal for our Friday afternoon drinks!

One team

We are different and we believe it is our people that make us unique – a lot of the people in our business have become incredibly good friends and we regularly host socials where alumni employees come to catch up.

Caring for the environment

Sustainability, community support and mindfulness are an integral part of our values. We are proud to support a variety of charities and causes which are important to our staff.

  • Our office and construction areas have advanced recycling bins and we keep our general waste to a minimum.
  • The events industry is renown for wastage – we work to change that and do our bit. The frame constructions of our exhibition stands are reusable and due to the modular nature of our stands, most graphics can be repurposed.
  • As part of our green initiative, we plant one fruit tree in Africa for every fruit basket delivered to our office. This means that not only the staff in our office gets to enjoy healthy snacks, but we also planted an incredible 455 trees so far to tackle deforestation and help local communities in Malawi.
  • We also participate in the “Plant for the Planet” scheme where the project aims to replant 40 trees per month.
