Warehouse Team Leader

Summary description:

We are looking for experienced warehouse manager who is reliable, team-orientated and with a great eye for detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the world’s major brands, in the events and exhibitions arena. A good basic salary with overtime required on occasions.
 

Key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers and transport companies
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods: receipt, unpacking, controlling, pricing, labelling, storage, picking, repacking, dispatch of goods
  • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • Plan future capacity requirements
  • Organise the recruitment and training of the staff , as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
  • Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures following Group requirements
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation and Group requirements
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  • Control archiving for Accounts and other departments at the Warehouse
  • Plan, prepare and manage bi-annual Stock takes
  • Assist with deliveries, when required, in line with company requirements
Skills required:
  • Knowledge of custom modular stand systems and general industry knowledge
  • Team orientated with the ability to work on own initiative
  • First rate communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
  • Strong customer focus
  • Must have a great eye for detail and a thorough and detailed approach to work
  • Must have clean UK driver’s license
  • Forklift licence

Project Manager

Summary description:

A role that requires the processing and monitoring of finalised and approved exhibition stand projects, using the Company’s CRM management system, through to the Production and Exhibition Services Department on behalf of the Sales Account Managers.
 

Key responsibilities:
  • Receiving finalised exhibition stand brief from sales team, collating information and preparing on-site job folder using the company’s CRM management system.
  • Instructing production department with graphic brief details
  • Ordering exhibition stand parts and graphic elements using supplier’s SAP system
  • Preparing and providing graphic panel layouts to clients
  • Liaising with clients to re-confirm artwork deadlines
  • Prepare electrical and carpet plans
  • Ordering third party services
  • Liaising with exhibition organisers to provide Health and Safety documents and obtain stand design approval
  • Working with internal departments to ensure job is produced on time and handed over to exhibition services team
  • Monitoring costs through project lifecycle so they adhere to budget
  • To go onsite to oversee stand installation and client handover
Skills required:
  • Excellent IT skills using Word, Acrobat and Excel etc
  • Excellent Administration and organisational skills

Senior 3D Exhibition Stand Designer

We are looking for a highly creative and motivated individual who has 3-4 yrs professional exhibition design experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the world’s major brands, in the events and exhibitions arena.
 

Key responsibilities:
  • Interpreting and communicating a client’s brief
  • Designing and visualising exhibition stands
  • Producing comprehensive technical drawings for clients, project managers and stand builders
  • Attending client briefings, meetings and presentations
  • Designing for all aspects of the exhibition industry
Skills and experience required:
  • Exhibition/Trade show specific spatial design experience
  • 3D Visualisation skills (any major 3D package)
  • CAD and technical drawing skills (Autocad/Vectorworks or similar)
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • Confidence to work with major global brands
  • Good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines

Sales Manager

This is an outstanding opportunity to work for an industry leading creative exhibition and event production Company in a period of growth transition. To continue with this growth we are looking for a talented Sales Manager with drive and ambition to join us in heading up an existing experienced sales team whilst finding and developing new talent. This role is about leadership and people development whilst promoting continuous improvement throughout the business but will also require managing some key client accounts along with vital business development working with the sales and marketing team. Genuine opportunity to develop further into the senior management role if desired with the potential to earn six-figure salary.

A role that is responsible for the coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities of the business and reporting directly to the Managing Director.
 

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure continued and steady growth of the company sales whilst maintaining and improving profitability
  • Day-to-day management and development of existing sales team of 5 persons
  • Prepare and deliver accurate team pipeline, sales and management reports to the board of directors
  • Manage weekly sales team meetings

Remuneration and benefits:
  • £60,000 – £70,000 Basic Salary and £90k OTE

Large Format Fabric Print Operator / Finisher £25K+ DOE

We are looking for an experienced Large Format Fabric Print Operator / Finisher.
Dye sub printer knowledge and fabric finishing would be an advantage.
 

Key responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Operating – Dgen Dye Sub Fabric Printer and Monti Calendar. Fabric finishing using Matik sewing system.
  • Ideally have experience in LARGE FORMAT digital print finishing including mounting, laminating, trimming, cut vinyl preparation.
  • Be able to use mounting / laminating roll to roll machine.
  • A keen eye for attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team under our Graphics Director but also be able to demonstrate working on ones own initiative.
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • A willingness to work occasional unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends (paid)
Skills required:
  • You will; have lots of enthusiasm and personality; be punctual and reliable; have the ability to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team; be self motivated and have lots of common sense.
  • You will also be able to work on your own initiative and you will keep the working area clean and tidy.

 
Hours of work are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
