Garmin, who deliver innovative GPS navigation and wearable technology, annually exhibit at a number of trade shows in the UK, with The London Marathon Expo as the main show for their running segment. Garmin approached Skyline Whitespace to create a new stand design to help them better demonstrate their featured products and engage with the audience at the show. Without a specific new product to promote this year, Garmin wanted to still give visitors a reason to come onto their stand, by creating a fresh and engaging environment.
The design was based on a modular concept allowing it to be reconfigured for different shows across the year and offered a more cost-effective solution. Our team created a design that met Garmin’s brief, with product displays strategically placed around the stand showing their diverse range, whilst maintaining a spacious and inviting area. To further attract attention towards the stand, we suspended a double-sided branded banner directly above. This coupled with their eye-catching graphics, ensured Garmin had great visibility.
“Skyline Whitespace had no trouble in understanding our brief and the requirements for the stand considering the range of complex variables we had to work with when working with a retail partner. This fed clearly into the designs, making them easy to sign-off. In the production and build-up, Skyline Whitespace were extremely patient with us and when required helped us breakdown unknowns until we all found a solution. Their patience and understanding were a quality that really resonated with us across this project.
In terms of the creativity with the stand, the team were always available to listen, develop ideas, find solutions and then turn them into a reality. Our Connected Bike plinth is a prime example of this and is an element, which has subsequently been used repeatedly at multiple events, including National Award ceremonies.’’
