Based in Suffolk, we installed a Care Dome for Brierfield Residential Home to help their residents see their loved ones, especially during the cold winter months and over the Christmas break.
Featuring two entrances and a screen in the middle to ensure it is compliant with government rules, they decorated the dome with cosy lighting, comfy chairs, heating and even added a Christmas tree.
The Care Dome has received lots of positive feedback from visitors, residents and staff members, with many visitors already booking in time to pay their loved ones a visit.
They use a system that enables visitors to book out the dome for 45-minute slots and thoroughly clean the pods between each visit.
In this interview with the Ipswich Star Michelle Lewis, the care home manager, chats to them about the project and adds “Skyline Whitespace installed the pod for us and have been amazing.”
